Ashley Armstrong, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Ashley Armstrong is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care for individuals ages 6 and older. She treats a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders, with a special interest in supporting medical professionals and first responders. Her focus is on helping people experience meaningful, lasting improvement in how they feel and function day to day.


A Central Texas native, Ashley brings over 20 years of healthcare experience, including work in long-term care and emergency medicine in rural communities. Her background has shaped a calm, steady approach that allows her to connect with individuals across a wide range of experiences. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Global.


Ashley takes a holistic approach that considers each person’s experiences, goals, and values. She incorporates elements of counseling into her work and emphasizes education, helping individuals better understand their stress responses and develop practical skills for emotional regulation. She is committed to reducing stigma, building genuine connections, supporting sustainable mental wellness, and improving access to quality mental health care across the communities she serves.


Outside of clinical practice, Ashley enjoys balancing chaotic family fun and adventure alongside quieter moments to recharge. She enjoys reading, cooking, spending time in nature, discovering new hobbies, and traveling. She values lifelong learning and incorporating things into her daily life that bring her joy.
